WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS
OF Paint correction?
Compounding
To eliminate deep flaws such as swirl marks, scratches, and oxidation, our technicians employ a heavy abrasive compound using a rotary or dual-action polisher in the initial paint correction stage, known as compounding. This procedure uses the compound to level the surface, gradually removing the most obstinate flaws.
Polishing
The second stage involves polishing the paint surface after combining. A less abrasive polish is done with a dual-action polisher to further enhance the finish. Polishing removes any residual tiny defects, smoothens the paint, and increases its gloss, resulting in a dramatically improved and more colorful appearance.
Finishing
Finishing is the final stage of paint correction. An ultra-fine finishing polish is used in this phase to give an extraordinarily smooth, shiny, and mirror-like surface. It's all about perfecting the character, making sure there are no micro-scratches or haze left behind. This stage gives your vehicle's paintwork a showroom-quality gloss, making it look immaculate and better than new.
How Are Scratches Caused?
Contact with abrasive materials, such as rocks or debris on the road, inadvertent scrapes against hard surfaces, and even poor washing practices that transfer grit or grime to the surface can all cause scratches on a car’s paint. These scratches are ugly and can weaken the paint’s integrity, perhaps causing severe damage if left unchecked.

LEVEL 1 DETAIL
- Paintwork deep cleansed and if required clayed followed by a single stage machine polish using an ultra fine gloss enhancing polish. Paintwork wiped down using Gtechniq Panel Wipe to ensure coatings form a perfect bond with your car’s paintwork.
- Price includes application of Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light. additional charges will apply for upgrades
- Recommended for new cars or cars with near perfect paintwork only.

LEVEL 2 DETAIL
- Paintwork deep cleansed, clayed and a full set of paint thickness readings taken. A two stage machine polish using a combination of medium and ultra fine polishes. Paintwork wiped down using Gtechniq Panel Wipe to ensure coatings form a perfect bond with your car’s paintwork.
- Price includes application of Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light. additional charges will apply for upgrades
- Generally lightly swirled paintwork mixed with one or two deeper scratches would need this treatment. In our experience, most cars more than 1 year, but less than 5 years old, will require this treatment to bring about a flawless finish.

Level 3 Detail
- Paintwork deep cleansed, clayed and a full set of paint thickness readings taken. A four stage machine polish using a combination of compound, medium and ultra fine polishes. Paintwork wiped down using Gtechniq Panel Wipe to ensure coatings form a perfect bond with your car’s paintwork.
- Price includes application of Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light. additional charges will apply for upgrades
- Only recommended for high value cars with unloved paintwork. The amount of extra machine polishing required to remove deep scratches will surprise many. Please note that we may judge some scratches as too deep to be safely removed.
